What's Going On?
Harry Potter is coming to Islands of Adventure in late 2009. 'The Wizarding World of Harry Potter' is going to be a theme park within a theme park. Featuring new park areas, attractions, shops, and more!
You'll be able to travel through Hogsmede, Hogwarts Castle, and The Forbidden Forrest. An all new attraction featuring 'Kuka Arm Ride Technology' will be built for the area, as well as re-theming of old attractions in the Lost Continent area.
Facts, Figures, Trivia & More!
• The new area is going into unused land behind The Lost Continent area as well as the Jurassic Park area. Parts of the Lost Continent will be salvaged for the new land.
• The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is slated to open in late 2009/early 2010.
• The whole project has been overseen by J.K. Rowling herself for accuracy.
